20 years working with Hampshire Constabulary taught me many things. Things which perhaps seemed insignificant to me as a singleton with only myself to look after, yet became very important to me as a parent.

A little while ago I was approached by the Press Association who asked if I would be interested in article about the loss of my career in the Police Force. I thought long and hard, eventually coming to the conclusion that no matter how hard something is to talk about, sometimes you have to share your story in order for people to read and understand allergies a little more.
